Like most other artists, I have my share of frustrations and images I do not particularly enjoy drawings. I wish I can draw better and wonders if I am really cut out for this at times.

However, while all parts of drawing are not equally fun, I would say the overall experience is positive. It lets me create the things which I otherwise cannot have.

Do you get many commissions that are kept private?

Actually no.

What you see here is about 90% of the commissions that I have gotten since Ponilove started.

could you do a small list of ponies (mane6, royals, villainesses, background) that you like and don't like to draw so it would help people create requests for "Do a Request Day" instead of asking for their fav characters? AJ, Shy, Twilight, Celestia, Chrysalis got prob more chance of picking than Rarity, NMM, Luna, Octavia etc..

Well it’s “unnatural” alright….. hell even implants don’t reach 1/3 of that size. But some people really like that size.

Even though it is understandable that you removed the Suprise comic again - could you still re-upload it, maybe in a less public way? The expressions and poses were great, even if the dialogue might have been going a little bit in the wrong direction. That would be awesome!

I remove it because it was going at a direction that really don’t match Ask Surprise’s. I am not sure why I thought it was a good idea at the time. Probably gonna re-post it when I think of a more cheerful and hyper story to go with it.

For paid commission, I am willing to draw most things legal.

As for free requests, I tend to gear toward what is more popular and what I like.

So, something like “draw your personal OC” isn’t very likely to be picked as a free request. Topics that doesn’t fit with the theme of this blog (example grimdark) will probably not be picked for free request. But hey, it cost nothing to request, and if it’s interesting enough I might do it anyway.

Um, what is wrong with the story length? I can see that you did falter a bit with the characters, but have you ever read doujinshi? Those average 20-30 pages, and have ATROCIOUS characters. I thins that fourteen pages with actually believable characters works just fine.

Well I notice is that the last 7 arc updates has about half the notes as the first 7. Someone must be losing interest with the way it was going. Besides they tend to be really bad at drawing in new followers. My guess is numbers like update 12 (and the amount of texts in each panel) just throws new people off.

By contrast, do a request days and “pony” porn actually comes with much more notes and followers, so I suspect they are more popular.

Sorry, but no more multiple characters story arc for a while….. I mean Flutter Pie isn’t exactly what I call my best work…. I can’t juggle with so many character, do each one justice, and still keep it short enough as porn so people don’t lose interest.

I think I will stick to doing characters…… one at a time.

Please stop this. I hate "assertive" fluttershy. There's PLENTY you can do with shy fluttershy. Not to mention that this isn't exactly "happy sex"

Plenty of things can be done with it, does not mean I can pull out plenty of things.

Have I got an idea of how to make it nice, entertaining, and believable, the arc would have been done a long time ago. 3 people relationship really is a shipwreck, in story and in life, so applying “ask Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie” style stories into this just doesn’t work. In the end, Fluttershy is the broken link. I had Pinkie try to convince Shy to have sex, to the point where it is starting to sound like a broken record. But at the end, she still has no reason to engage in sex without being extremely forced. I could of ended the sex at 8 by having Shy say no, or I need a new direction.

Does that mean what I did was really such a good idea? I have no clue. I guess I will find out soon enough.

i feel like its probably because youre focusing on two characters, so it's either harder to characterize either one, or the pacing would have to be slower in order to accomodate both

Yes, it’s been a struggle, and I seem to be losing it. More development might be needed, but I fear that a lot of people already stop reading the text at this point.

It really is, 3 times the work for 1/3 the reward.

Have you been drawing or planning out dialogue then realize it's not what you wanted? Did go back a change it or did you keep it and just alter it enough to keep on with your planned idea? Is there an example that comes to mind?

Yes I change dialogs, a lot. I am too spontaneous to check if everything is perfect before I put them up. So sometimes I take down updates to rewrite them.

An example would be Twilight update 8. I had to throw out the whole update and rewrite it because it doesn’t fit the direction I want this blog to go.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the sexual acts involving humanized ponies in your story arcs were supposed to be their first time, yet not once were defloration or hymen bleeding depicted implicitly or explicitly. If I may ask, why is that?

Early development of Twilight arc actually has bleeding, but then I was advised to remove them because the blood can turn some people off.

So from then on I leave it out.

I haven’t even decided if I will ink everything that I do in the future….. Eventually I want to push out higher quality stuff I guess…. Better color and everything too…. Gotta stop being a n00b eventually.

If I go back to ink everything I will never get Flutterpie done.

On my end, the more stories, the less arousing it is. Why? Because while an update takes minutes to read, it takes hours to draw/write. Slipping sleeves off from a shoulder might be hot in real time, but it isn’t too fun if it takes 45 minutes…

Which begs the question, do readers want more story or more sex?
